Dr. Gottfried Hertzka (1913–1997) was the founder of modern Hildegard medicine. Inspired by Hildegard's writings, he developed his own recipes, treated patients with them in his practice in Konstanz, and worked closely with the JURA company from 1960 onwards. Together, they made Hildegard remedies available to pharmacies for the first time. His book "Thus Heals God" is considered a classic of Hildegard medicine.
